Beyond SIFE

This page contains a list of scheduled projects that SIFE will be undertaking. By clicking on project titles, you will be brought to a list of project members along with their contact information.  If you have an idea for a project, please contact us and describe your project idea.

Presentation Seminar
SIFE's presentation project takes you into the mind of the audience so that you can figure out the best ways  to communicate your message.  Our team focuses on reinventing the  way presenters connect with their audience through personal attributes  (body language, tone) in combination with such vices as humor, pictures, and  music.

Financial Literacy Seminar
SIFE will be bringing in professionals to educate the student body about various financial subjects such as credit and basic banking skills.

Entrepreneurship Speaker Series
SIFE will have a guest speaker series in which local entrepreneurs will speak about their experiences. The first of these series will be held on April 18, 2007 at the Camden County Boathouse. Click on this link for more details.

Public Relations
SIFE's public relations committee is responsible for advertising and marketing our projects to the campus and local community

Entrepreneurship Concentration
SIFE will be promoting Rutgers-Camden's  concentration in entrepreneurship.  The requirements for this concentration, as well as other tools, can be found by clicking here.

Stamp Out Hunger
This project will have three parts.  First, SIFE will be creating a cook book with simple, healthy, and affordable recipes put together with recipes from the SJ Hot Chefs association.  The second part will be a cooking class hosted at Campbell's Soup Company.  We will be asking several of the SJ Hot Chefs to come in and teach a cooking class to members of the community.  The third part of the project will be a food drive that is to take place on or before April 20th.
