    Our second Easter Egg Hunt at DUE Season Charter School, Camden. We brought the eggs, we hid 'em, and the approximately 262 K-3 kids found (most of) 'em!

    Meeting. Topic: More Job Search Strategies. Speaker: Professor and Marketing Consultant George Fore, who's also owner of Wild Birds Unlimited Nature Shop. A joint meeting with the Management Association.

    Easter Egg Hunt at D.U.E. Season Charter School in Camden – The children enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of finding candy filled Easter eggs!!

    Camden Angels Sock Drive – We collected packages of socks, toys, and a sweater.

    Goodwill Clothing Drive – We collected two full large sized bins of clothing.  The drive was a huge success!!!

    National Kidney Foundation - Kidney Walk at the Philadelphia Zoo!
    Prior to the Kidney Walk the Marketing Association collected donations and sponsors from all over campus. Our effort towards spreading the word about Kidney Disease and Organ Donation was a huge success! We raised $1,296!!!

    Guest Speakers - Susan S. Bonney, Vice President, and Bill Viereck, Senior Research Analyst, represented Marketing Research and Sales Analysis for QVC. Co-sponsored with the MBA Student Association and held in the Campus Center, Lower Level, Conference Room AB from 5pm-7pm.

 

  • Tuesday, February 24th:
    Join the Association in the fight against heart disease!
    Heart-2-Heart, our Heart Disease Awareness, Acknowledgement and Action charity fund-raising event for the American Heart Association - during free period in the Campus Center! Free lunch, DJ, Q102 prizes, TONS of information, activities and opportunities to help yourself and others!
    Co-sponsored with Sigma Delta Tau Sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., American Medical Students Association, Foreign Language Association, and Rutgers Cheerleading Team.

 

  • Thursday, March 4th:
    Guest Speakers - Rutgers School of Business at Camden MBA graduate, Steve Nathan, along with Mike Facenda, both representing The Borgata as Director of Database Marketing and Director of Marketing Services respectively.

  • Thursday, April 8th:
    Guest Speaker - Sonia Nofziger representing Amgen as a VP, Accounts Manager.

  • Tuesday, September 16th: The School of Business' Open House BBQ - Happy 15th Birthday to the School of Business at Camden!

 

  • Thursday, September 25th: Guest Speaker - Joe Bartsys represented Subaru.

 

  • Tuesday, September 30th: Marketing Association Student Luncheon - open to ALL students and faculty!

 

  • Tuesday, October 7th & Wednesday, October 8th: Join the Association in the fight against breast cancer! Pink Ribbons for sale in the Campus Center Lobby.
    Thanks to all of our generous contributors - we collected $500 in donations to the American Cancer Society!

 

  • Tuesday, October 21st: Guest Speaker - Stu Richter represented Hill International as the Senior Vice President of their Project Management Group.

 

  • Thursday, October 23rd: Join the Association in the fight against breast cancer! Breast Cancer Awareness Event in the Campus Center.
    Our goal was to raise at least $1,000 and we were halfway there already!
    This event included: live Q102 dance party, free lunch, and lots of important breast cancer information!

 

 

  • Thursday, October 30th: Marketing Association Student Luncheon - open to ALL students and faculty!

 

 

  • Tuesday, November 11th: Constitutional changes - deadline for questions, comments and/or disagreements before being made permanent!

 

  • Tuesday, November 18th: Guest Speaker - Greg Meyers represented Johnson & Johnson as the Manager of CRM & Marketing Technology Information Management (McNeil Consumer and Specialty Pharmaceuticals.)

 

  • Tuesday, December 9th: Officer Elections.
    It's official - elections were announced via email on November 18th. Nominations to run for open positions were due by December 2nd (a week prior!) Thank you for your patience and understanding!

  • Wednesday, January 29th: Guest Speaker - RUSoBC graduate Carol Camino represented GlaxoSmithKline, Inc. as a Senior Sales Representative. At RUSoBC, Carol was also a Marketing Association President.

 

  • Thursday, March 6th: Guest Speaker - RUSoBC graduate Craig Dillon discussed careers in Marketing Research as a Technician in Marketing and Research at Burlington County College. At RUSoBC, he was a Marketing Association Technical Director.

 

  • Thursday, March 27th: Guest Speaker - RUSoBC graduate Robin Barnes represented The STAR Group as an Account Representative. At RUSoBC, she was a Marketing Association Director of Public Relations.
    Rescheduled from a Feb. 18th snow cancellation.
    Followed by a presentation by Joe Haro, RUSoBC Internships Director, on interviewing skills and strategies.

  • Thursday, October 17th: Guest Speaker - RUSoBC graduate Jerry Banfe, Entrepreneur and CEO of Banfe Products, a company he founded in 1996.

 

 

  • Thursday, Nov. 7th: Guest Speaker - RUSoBC graduate Andrew Shipe represented the Campbell Soup Company as Product Manager for their U.S. soup division.
