



Accounting Society Tournament: Intercollegiate Accounting Jeopardy Tournament |

| Rutgers hosts the Intercollegiate Accounting Tournament every spring at the Rutgers | |
| University Student Center. The Tournament is a great opportunity for college seniors to | |
| demonstrate their ability to understand and apply their accumulated accounting | |
| knowledge. The event is open to all: students, faculty, and the public. | |
| The Rule | |
| 1. There are two rounds and one final round. | |
| 2. Contestants are allowed to buzz in as soon as they think they can answer. | |
| All other buzz in with their answers. | |
| 3. Contestants have 3 seconds to respond to the question. | |
| 4. If the contestant cannot answer the question within 3 seconds or answers incorrectly, | |
| their turn (and wager) is lost. All other buzzers are then cleared and the remaining | |
| contestants can buzz in with their answers. | |
| Round 1 | |
| 1. There are 25 total questions, arranged by category, worth between 100 and 500 points. | |
| 2. Topics include: Financial Accounting, Auditing, Federal Tax Accounting, and | |
| Management Accounting. | |
| Round 2 | |
| 1. There are 25 total questions, arranged by category, worth between 200 and 1000 points. | |
| 2. Topics include: Financial Accounting, Auditing, Federal Tax Accounting, and | |
| Management Accounting. | |
| Final Round | |
| 1. One question will be asked. The contestants may wager any amount of points previously | |
| earned in Rounds 1 and 2. | |
| 2. After the final question, points will be added up and a winning school will be declared. | |

All participants and faculty advisors are welcomed
to attend. |
