| About Accounting Society: | ||||||
| Rutgers Univeristy Accounting Society is a student organization comprised of | ||||||
| students who are interested a career in the accounting or professional services field. | ||||||
| Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for our members to become more familiar | ||||||
| with, and involved in, the world of accounting. | ||||||
| Accounting Society assists its members with getting acquainted with the "real world" | ||||||
| with its professional events. Members have many opportunities to meet knowledgeable | ||||||
| and enthusiastic professionals from top CPA firms, as well as accountants working | ||||||
| in private industry. | ||||||
| Accounting Society also provides an opportunity for students to interact with other | ||||||
| students who are interested in a career in accounting or professional services. As a | ||||||
| result, membership provides an excellent opportunity for career planning and | ||||||
| networking by complementing our members' formal business education. | ||||||
